Hi, I am Adam Carrozza Psychologist

I am a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience in the field. My goal is to help you find the most effective treatment method to get you back on track and on your way to a better life.

We have a range of psychotherapy and counselling services including family, child, teen and couples therapy. The company also works with businesses to provide support for their employees, clients and the community as well. All our therapists work from offices around the world and have access to state-of-the-art technology to treat everyone regardless of location.

The main reason why we are very selective in our choices is because so many different things can cause depression and anxiety. For example, you may experience depression due to a loss or trauma. However, stress or grief can affect how you feel. If you are depressed because you’ve been cheated on, it may not always be easy to tell people how you feel. People will often react badly to anything related to the loss of loved ones such as a deceased family member. These events can trigger a sense of loneliness which, if left untreated, could lead to further unhappiness.

Our Team

Our psychologists can be found at many locations – for example by way of telephone or online. We provide individual cases may require more extensive treatment. Most of our work involves finding a suitable candidate. At the end of each case we assess the client’s situation and work with a professional to identify how best to deliver a solution. From this, we plan a series of plans to address any problems before they occur. Some of our clients may need extra sessions before the final outcome is reached.

Adam Carrozza (Allos Australia) team are trained to deal with children; however if there are specific concerns about teenagers we will also engage adults. We help individuals build healthy relationships as well as those facing difficulty.

What do people want from their therapist? We want to help them achieve self-awareness, learn how to manage their emotions, and get helpful advice to ensure they see the best possible version of themselves now and into their future. They may not know how to recognise and manage their own negative feelings, but if they’re aware of what they are feeling and how to cope, they are able to move on and keep going. During the course of treating our clients I will try to discuss issues so that you can gain an insight into what your therapist is thinking about when they talk to you. It gives us insight into how best to support you.

If somebody has lost someone close to them, then a depressive episode often begins after that person leaving the house or moving out of home.

Our primary goal is to ensure you get the right support throughout your appointment and you get to know who you are and what you bring to therapy. Our goal is to build trust and respect which is a vital component of every relationship. This isn’t only important during the first session, it can also help you throughout the course of your treatment, especially when you feel unsure about yourself.

Our mission is to create lasting change in our patients’ lives, so working together to achieve this will be key to helping them achieve this. That’s why our process is built around being collaborative, open, honest, and empathic. Each time that you come to speak, it’s important that you ask questions so that we can work through whatever needs to be done with you. Not only that, this also helps us understand your feelings, feelings and thoughts.

When dealing with clients I try to keep things in perspective by asking them ‘why’ rather than ‘what’. When it comes to therapy it is important to remember that life is not black and white and so many circumstances can influence how you feel. You will always have feelings, which may change after your initial sessions. Once you feel comfortable speaking about what you’re experiencing, it is important that you open up about how you feel so I can give suggestions such as positive affirmations and mindfulness practices. I suggest talking about what happened during the session. This also helps our clients feel relaxed, and they can think clearly as well as make good decisions when it comes to managing their own health.
